Chair Massage Orange

Chair massage is a great option for today's busy office worker, stressed-out executive, or anyone else that is short on time but badly in need of a relaxing massage. Many people suffer from too much anxiety and stress and end up with pain in their neck and shoulders and realize that a good massage would be very helpful, but most people today are too busy to find the time to squeeze a long massage session into their weekly schedule.

A typical full-body massage leaves the client very relaxed and sometimes slightly spaced out. A short-seated massage is a different experience: it is so invigorating that recipients usually feel full of energy after the treatment. Many massage clinics offer walk-in seated massages that re-energize the client and make him ready to face the rest of the day.

There have been several studies showing how massage can help relieve stress while easing pain and tension, reducing anxiety and increasing a sense of well-being. Even just a short shoulder or neck massage has many health benefits to offer: it can help relax knotted muscles often found in the upper areas of the back, it can energize and invigorate, it can help increase flexibility, especially when there are regular massage treatments, and it can help one focus their mind. A weekly massage treatment is definitely ideal, but even the occasion massage can be very helpful.

Chair massage offers a lot of convenience for the recipient; they do not have to get undressed or even lie down for the massage. The client simply sits in an ergonomic massage chair that has been specifically designed for this purpose. The massage chair is designed so that the recipient can sit as comfortably as possible while still allowing the masseur the best access to provide an effective massage. The masseuse or masseur does not need to use any creams or oils. Instead, they will work directly through the recipients clothes utilizing special techniques developed just for this style of massage.

The masseur or masseuse will work on a limited area of the body, but this area is where most people suffer the most effects from tension: the arms and shoulders, the upper back, neck and head. A typical massage will include a lot of work with pressure points which is based on acupressure and shiatsu massage and often includes gently stretching in order to increase the mobility of the joint and improve circulation to the area. Many of the pressure points located in the neck are also extremely effective in helping to alleviate headaches.

Chair massages are sometimes called office massages, as they have become very popular in offices and other workplaces. Many companies have realized that keeping the workforce healthy and well improves the general atmosphere in the workplace and also improves productivity. Several corporations now offer regular massage sessions to their employees. Usually a therapist comes to the office with a massage chair and treats one employee after another once a month, or sometimes once a week. Because the massage is so short, workers can get treated during their coffee breaks and can later continue with their duties.

Chair massage is now offered in many places, such as in shopping malls, workplaces, airports and massage clinics. In fact, London's Heathrow airport has had a massage center for many years where passengers can walk in and get a short chair treatment while waiting for a flight. This type of massage is convenient and offers a very effective form of pain relief, but it also has the benefit of leaving the client feeling revitalized and energized.

Remedy Muscle Spasms More Effectively

Americans in general are working more and more hours. More than before, as well as more than their European counterparts. We need to learn to relax a bit more. Family, work, friends all keep us busy. What do other countries know about relaxation. Maybe we can learn. You need to learn more about chair massage.

Many companies will provide chair massage for incentives to employees for hard work, or profitable numbers. What we do not all know (myself included until recently) is that massage in a chair can relieve many ailments from aches and pains to migraines and stress. The individual who will give this massage is usually an independent worker who will bring his/her own equipment to the work site. Unlike many massages, this one is done in a portable chair, fully clothed.

Companies actually do this. Even though it sounds like a luxury, remember that a lot of larger companies have, on their premises, conveniences such as nap rooms and day care. A masseuse who will come to the site with equipment can be used to provide incentives or reward hard-working individuals, while relieving stress.

Employers, do you want your employees to perform better? Of course you do. With health care for employees at a premium, surely it makes sense to have the benefit of massage provided. This is very beneficial to productivity and could lead to a reduction in absenteeism, making chair massage a benefit all around.

I love studying different languages. It's especially exciting when all cultures have the same word and customs. The word comes from the Latin word "frictio", as well as from the French word meaning "friction or kneading", and the Arabic word "massa" meaning to touch, feel or handle.

Chinese records dating back 3,000 years document the use of massage. The ancient Hindus, Persians and Egyptians applied forms of massage for many ailments; and even Hippocrates wrote papers recommending the use of rubbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems. At the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, there were masseuses on hand for any injury that could be treated with it.

One very important thing about massage is that while it relieves pain and stress, it doesn't require medication, which can lead to drowsiness. If the employee is happy, he/she will produce better. Every employer wants to have happy workers, as they know this maximizes the work. My husband and I don't want to be billionaires. We want to be able to pay the basic bills and have our girls in dance and music classes.

My husband works in a busy office, drives miles and miles a day, and comes home with back and neck pain. If only his company would institute chair massage. He would perform so much better. Many mornings he is up with stress headaches, many evenings with back/shoulder pain. We know that this can be cured with chair massage. Well, until his company does offer it on-site, we are paying money that we feel is well spent at our local massage spa, where his stress and pains are worked out by a professional. Encourage your company to offer on-site chair massage. We are working on ours!
